Click on the Find button to display the Find drop down selection of tools.

A Find Features search can only be carried out on fields stored as a character datatype, not numeric. |
Click on the Find Features tab and the Find Features selection window is displayed. |

Click on the drop down list and select the category that you wish to perform a search for.

Now enter your search criteria in the box provided and click Go. |

For our example we selected Primary Schools with search criteria of ‘ladysmith’. The results are listed in the |
Information Browser and the numbered results displayed on the map. To clear your query click the Clear search results button link on the Find Features tab. |
