In MapInfo you can load several .TAB files and create one seemless table. You can do the same in QGIS for Raster layers by using a Virtual Raster (Calalog).
By default the virtual raster layer is loaded into the project upon completion. |
In the above screenshot we have zoomed in to show the map in more details but notice that there is only one Layer VMD_TQ shown in the Layers box. |
