Overview

Connecting directly to the WFS links provided by the Environment Agency such as National Nature Reserves, Flood Map for Planning etc. display maps flipped on their x, y axis e.g.

Step-by-step guide

There is a simple fix for this and that is to specify the version in the URL e.g.

https://environment.data.gov.uk/spatialdata/national-nature-reserves-england/wfs

Needs to be specified like this

https://environment.data.gov.uk/spatialdata/national-nature-reserves-england/wfs?version=1.0.0&
