General Fixes

  • Resolution for an issue with Workspaces reported by a customer where the "Show on map" links were not linking to the correct MapSource for a given Workspace (were always linking to the default MapSource).

 

This was actually an underlying bug where My House wasn't picking up the Web/MapPage and Web/MapSource settings from the configuration. This is now fixed. These can be edited in Studio under "General Settings".

**WARNING** the MapPage and especially the MapSource may already be set to non-helpful values. Especially the MapSource setting, e.g.: "Workshop/AllMaps". Everyone installing this release should be check that setting is sane. Leaving it empty is probably safest, unless a particular MapSource is required, as this means it will pick up the default MapSource as previously.

  • In Google Chrome the toolbar dropdown menus, the last buttons were being wrapped and triggering scrollbars. This was due to Chrome's method of height calculation. Slightly altering the height has resolved the issue.
  • Static legends now showing correctly in the Layer panel.
  • Fix for issue reported by several customers where clicking on address search's drop down list would close the list. Tested on IE7 and above and Chrome and Firefox.
  • Layer info-clicks no longer fail where a field has the same Display name as the Display name of the Layer.

PG Installer

  • Installer was failing if either the Northgate MVM, NLPG, Symphony (Welsh) or Innogistic Lookup was requested at install time. Caused by an invalid character in the SQL which has now been removed.
  • The myAlerts database is now installing correctly.

iShare Installer

  • Files in the "custom" folder no longer being overwritten.
  • Fixed problem where the installer was not placing map files in the WebService\MapServer folder.

iShare GIS

  • Fix for problem introduced in v5.0.2 affecting people with accounts local to the iShare web server (i.e. non-domain users). When using iShareGIS, they couldn't get Profiles when member of an associated Role.
  • Fix for issue reported by several customers where address search results appeared on left-hand side of screen in iShareGIS.
  • Fix for issue reported by RBWM and Mole Valley where thematic map images were missing features with highest values.
  • Fix for situation where the print output would fail to render anything other than overlays. This happened when the BaseMapSource reference (e.g. Council/MapSourceBase) contained the full MapSource reference (e.g. Council/MapSource).
  • Fix for problem introduced in v5 where PDFs created by iShareGIS will not automatically open in Adobe Acrobat as they report a content-type header of text/html rather than pdf.
  • Fix for issue where XLS output was corrupted by having spurious XML declaration in the document.
