Pre-requisites

This release of iShare requires the following to be installed:

  • Windows Server 2012 R2, 2012, 2008 R2 or 2008
  • Internet Information Services (IIS) Versions 8.5, 8.0, 7.5 or 7.0
  • Microsoft .NET Framework V3.5 Service Pack 1 (installed and enabled)

iShare and its modules are installed using the iShare Installer. Any 3rd Party software required by iShare may be installed using the Astun 3rd Party Installer. The AstunPGInstaller will install any Astun scripts on your Data Share database depending upon the selected Install Options.

Installers

  • The proxy script will now raise an error if either IIS or the URL Rewrite module aren't installed.

iShare Studio

  • Corrected the tab order of the Layer form in Studio.
  • Users can now order the BaseMaps in Studio.
  • Ensured that simple manually entered SQL is correctly wrapped with quotes.
  • Corrected tab order in Layer editor.
  • There is a new Load SLD button when editing a Layer.
  • The SLD Style Editor: 
    • icons on the Advanced tab toolbar have been updated.
    • should load quicker as the time taken to load each symbol on open has been significantly cut. This will be more noticeable the more symbols listed in the .map file (directly or through inclusion in a SYMBOLSET).
    • now uses the correct stroke control for solid colour fills.
    • has various other fixes & improvements.

iShare GIS

  • Print to PDF (HiDPI):
    • Should now show any recent changes to layers upon the dialog loading without having to refresh iShare GIS.
    • Now allows newlines inside ## template tags.
    • Ensures that zoom controls in Print to PDF preview are always displayed.
    • Has the ZoomBox functionality (Shift-drag zoom) removed from the Print Preview map as it is incompatible with the ability to fit-to-page.
    • Fix several layout issues with Print to PDF templates generated by the QGIS Print Converter.
    • Print template labels will now print correctly if there is a carriage return in the default text.
    • Ensures that SVG elements in Print to PDF preview are not editable.

  • Updated the QGIS Print Converter Lambda so that the:

    • Legend is placed correctly and expands in the correct direction.
    • Template is self-contained with regards to CSS.
    • Map is drawn correctly when rendered into a PDF.
    • Z-Index is correctly calculated for SVG elements.
    • Updated the QGIS template export to disable resizing of SVG elements in the Print Preview.
  • The OmniSearch now correctly searches local Metadata for the layer.
  • The Zoom control is now disabled when using Feature Editing to ensure its correct operation.
  • Disabled the click-to-zoom functionality of the zoom control when Feature Editing is active.

Web Services

  • Fixed problem with aggregate Thematic layers not being properly displayed in prints.
  • Updated the Metadata web service so that it now returns cached metadata in the event that the CSW server is not available.
