In MapInfo you can load several .TAB files and create one seemless table. You can do the same in QGIS for Raster layers by using a Virtual Raster (Calalog).
- Open QGIS and select Raster > Miscellaneous > Build Virtual Raster (Calalog) e.g.
- First you need to select your Raster Layers. You can either make a Virtual raster from the Visible raster layers in the current project or you can select a series of raster files.
- Click Select... beside the Input files box and choose your input files. In the following screenshot we are going to select some raster .tif files.
- Click Select... beside the Output file box and enter an output filename with a .vrt file extension.
- Click Save.
- If you are happy with your choices click OK.
- Click OK and OK again.
- Click Close

By default the virtual raster layer is loaded into the project upon completion. |
