To move an entire line you need to find the node near the middle of the feature and drag it to a new position - see the node outlined in green in the diagram below. You You can also select the drag existing nodes and drag themor mid-point nodes to new locations.
To remove a line select the Remove (-) button and click on the line to be removed.
