iShare Studio

  • New Map Editor allowing you to edit the .map file from within Studio
  • New Map Viewer allowing you to view the map layers from within Studio
  • Workflow has been totally re-designed to make it more intuitive.
    • Tasks are now defined under the Jobs to which they are related. Any Tasks not assigned to a specific Job will be displayed under a new Unassigned Tasks node.
    • Stored Procedure Tasks have changed. You can now pickup parameters from PostgreSQL and optionally can pick up description of parameters from function comments. This will only be used if parameters are quoted in $$, rather than single quote characters.
    • Data Sources added to a Job are now listed in the tree view alongside Workflow Tasks.
  • Facility to add OGC LayersStandard Layer Configuration.
  • New Studio Setting to configure the number of columns for My House see Settings >General Settings > Web > MyPagesColumns

LocalInfo

The new LocalInfo Data Request has replaced the old GEORSS and it is now possible to stream XML, JSON & JSONP.

It has also been extended to allow for searching by x and y co-ordinates.

  • Fixed a bug where the 'Match All Terms' checkbox on the search fields form was not updating the configuration files.
  • Fix for problem found for non-thematic OWS layers where filters were not being used in printing.
  • Stopped GetData.aspx and MapGetImage.aspx from allowing an invalid callback name.
  • WMS requests sped up through more intelligent caching of internal objects.

 

JavaScript file includes

  • Please be advised that we recommend that pages that load our standard Javascript files individually should be converted to using FileIncluderJS.aspx (present since v4.4). Please refer to the topic JavaScript File Includes for details.

Studio

  • If you try to add a Stored Procedure Task and there is no connection to PostgreSQL you now get an informative error message rather than a GPF [General Protection Fault]
  • When maintaining a Stored Procedure task you can now increase the size of the Additional Parameters box by clicking on the three dots at the bottom of the box and dragging the mouse to make the box larger or smaller.
  • The context menu for the MyMaps, BaseMaps etc. nodes has changed to make it more intuitive.
    • Add Map Source is now Import Existing MapSource
    • New Map Source is now Create New MapSource

Logger

  • Fix for issue in Logger encountered on site - description field for reported case was limited to 255 characters. It should now accept an unlimited number of characters.
