Steps involved for installing

Software required:

  • PostgreSQL. Postgresql-8.1-int.msi
  • Python. Python-2.5.1.msi
  • PostgreSQL for Python. PyGreSQL-3.8.1.win32-py2.5.exe
  • Win32 API for Python. pywin32-212.win32-py2.5.exe
  • ‘FTP Replicator’ database. AstunFTPInstaller.zip
  • Install the ‘FTP Replicator’ optional module into any PostgreSQL databases that will be replicating tables using the Astun PG Installer. AstunPGInstaller.zip
  • Install Replication Web Service. ReplicationWeb.zip
  • Install FTP Replication system. ReplicationPy.zip


Multi Instance Installs

Each instance must have a separate Web Service and Python installed so as to have their own configuration.  Within the configuration you will then need to change the ‘status’ table that an instance uses and the ‘Locale’ letter that the instance uses to make these unique.
