FTP Replicator Installation

Please speak to your Astun Consultant who will provide you with the necessary zip files and information for this process.

Steps involved for installing

Software required:

  • Install Python and Postgres using the Astun 3rd Party Installer.
  • Unzip the supplied AstunFTPInstaller.zip and create the ‘FTP Replicator’ database. 
  • Install the FTP Replicator optional module into ALL PostgreSQL databases that will be replicating tables using the Astun PG Installer. 
  • Unzip the supplied ReplicationWeb.zip and install Replication Web Service. 
  • Unzip the supplied ReplicationPy.zip and install FTP Replication system. 


Multi Instance Installs

Each instance must have a separate Web Service and Python installed so as to have their own configuration.  Within the configuration you will then need to change the ‘status’ table that an instance uses and the ‘Locale’ letter that the instance uses to make these unique.
