iShare GIS has a plugin system which allows you to add buttons and dialogues which you can use for custom functionality.

Data Share

Data Share has a Dynamic datasource which is in fact a python plugin that allows you to retrieve data when a page is loaded so no local copy is held in the Data Share database. This is intended for use with My House layers. One example of a Dynamic Datasource would be retrieving current Bin Collection information by querying a Bin Collection Web Service. These are bespoke python plugins so if you would like to use this functionality then please call your Astun Consultant.
