Studio Setup

Firstly you will need to direct the application to the Source Root and Root Config for iShare.

From the Studio select the Map Sources entry in the tree and you will see the following dialog:

MapSource Config

Source Root Dir

This should point to the iShare web site root folder. Use the Browse button  to locate the correct folder.

Root Config File

This should hold the name of the config file.

My Alerts Database

If you have My Alerts installed then you can configure the connection to the My Alerts database

Connection

Click on the Browse button  and enter your My Alerts database information.

Synchronise the Map Source/Lay Groups GUIDs

If you wish any changes or deletions to the My House or My Nearest map layers to automatically be updated to the My Alerts database then check this option. If you wish to manually synchronise then you will need to select the Sync MyAlerts GUID from the File menu having first selected the My House node.

Click Save  to update the configuration details for the Studio.
