Map Sources
There are different types of Map Sources which need to be defined for iShare. Each separate Map Source will have a separate .map file associated with it.
These Map Sources are used in My Maps, iShare Lite, iShare Solo and iShare GIS. | |
These include Map Sources for the underlying mapping such as OS Data, Aerial Photography etc. These BaseMaps are used in all of the mapping modules except for My House. | |
These Map Sources are only used in My House. | |
These Map Sources are only used in Logger. |
For each of the above Map Source types you will be able to:
- Edit the map by clicking on the Map Source
icon for the Map Source whose .map file you wish to edit and selecting the Map Editor tab. - View the map by clicking on the Map Source
icon for the Map Source whose .map file you wish to view and select the Map Viewer tab.
