Step 6 - Create Task to Import AddressBase data using Loader

In order to import the AddressBase Premium GML files using loader we need to create a Workflow Task in Studio. To do this you will need to add a Task entry. In the tree, right click on the Unassigned Tasks node and select New Task.

Select the Task Type as Program and click OK.

Name

Enter a name for the task e.g. Run Loader.

Program

This needs to be path to the batch file you created in Step 4 e.g.

d:\astun\tools\loader-addressbase\addressbase.bat

Additional Parameters

There are no additional parameters.

Run the Task to Import the Data

Now we need to run the task to import the data to test that it works correctly. Make sure that you have copied at least one AddressBase Premium GML file into the Source folder for Loader before running this task.

Right click on the Task and select Run Loader [or whatever you called the task]. Depending upon the size and number of files this may take a little while.
