About this Release

Pre-requisites

This release of iShare requires the following to be installed:

  • Windows Server 2012 R2, 2012, 2008 R2 or 2008
  • Internet Information Services (IIS) Versions 8.5, 8.0, 7.5 or 7.0
  • Microsoft .NET Framework V3.5 Service Pack 1 (installed and enabled)

iShare and its modules are installed using the iShare Installer. Any 3rd Party software required by iShare may be installed using the Astun 3rd Party Installer. The AstunPGInstaller will install any Astun scripts on your Data Share database depending upon the selected Install Options.

Studio

  • New icon added to the Geometry Type list in OGC Layers in Studio to show that the Geometry Type is not being automatically determined when using custom SQL.
  • Studio no longer lists Layers for Editing Roles that do not use a straight table query as a source.
  • Updated the file permissions alert to include text to tell the user to check the log file.
  • Copying and Pasting Layers should no longer cause an exception if the Roles node is not shown.
  • The geometry table field is now correctly re-enabled when the custom SQL for a layer is reverted.
  • Fix problem with Studio sometimes incorrectly flagging editable Layers from earlier versions as not being editable in the Map Source.

Data Share

  • The connection timeout is now being correctly applied to PostgreSQL Data Share Connections.

iShare Core

  • Performing an Info-click no longer restricts subsequent queries.

iShare Maps

  • Remove error tool tip from Layer panes in Map Categories after layer requests stop returning errors.

iShare GIS

  • Fixed a problem that was causing the Drilldown plugin to stop working.
  • Fixed an issue where Thematic Layer Legends were not showing until after a page refresh.
  • Better memory management for the iShare GIS sidebar, should help avoid issues when plugins make use of it.
  • Studio no longer lists layers for editing Roles that do not use a straight table query as a source.
  • Exporting data from the Information Browser no longer causes a .NET error.

My Alerts

  • Fixed issue where changes to User details were not being saved in My Alerts web interface.
  • Fixed error when deleting My Alerts Users in the My Alerts Console.

Web Services

  • Fixed issue with the Metadata linking service where having an ID for a CSW server other than 1 would cause the service to fail.
