Pre-requisites

This release of iShare requires the following to be installed:

  • Windows Server 2012 R2, 2012, 2008 R2 or 2008
  • Internet Information Services (IIS) Versions 8.5, 8.0, 7.5 or 7.0
  • Microsoft .NET Framework V3.5 Service Pack 1 (installed and enabled)

iShare and its modules are installed using the iShare Installer. Any 3rd Party software required by iShare may be installed using the Astun 3rd Party Installer. The AstunPGInstaller will install any Astun scripts on your Data Share database depending upon the selected Install Options.

Installers

  • The Astun 3rd Party Installer has been updated to include the MapServer ADS Certificate, required when calling a secured WMS / WFS service from MapServer, when you select to install MapServer. This is required if you are using HTTPS to connect to your ADS Base Maps. If you already have MapServer installed then you will need to follow the How-To Article Allow the use of ADS Base Maps served by HTTPS to manually download and configure the MapServer ADS Certificate.

My House / My Nearest

  • Remove requirement for atTextStreet location searches to have Default Document set in IIS web application in order for returning a single result to set the address for My House.

iShare GIS

  • Resizing a circle when creating or editing an Annotation no longer removes the buttons from the Annotation toolbar.
  • Searching using the omnisearch no longer takes a long time to return results when hundreds of Layers are configured.
  • Fix for problem with loading iShare GIS caused by metadata containing control characters, e.g. newlines.
  • Fixed issue where you are unable to edit an existing feature after switching Profiles.
  • Fix for crash seen in situations where metadata server was returning an error
