Changing the Map View

Click on the View button to display the View drop down selection of tools which control the display of the map.

 

Back

Displays the previous view / zoom of the map

Forward

Displays the Next view of the map. This is only available if you have previously clicked Back

X,Y

Displays the Change View window allowing you to change the Easting, Northing and Map Width e.g.

Zoom

Use this tool to click and drag a zoom box to the size of your choice. You may also adjust the zoom by either clicking the + / - keys on the keyboard [In and Out respectively] or by using the Navigation Tool.

Select this to display a Link for the current map. Now you may Copy the URL to pass on to someone else to open iShare GIS with the same map Layers, Zoom level, map centre etc.
